A bespoke AI marketing platform built for an enterprise client managing multiple brands across distinct business units. The client needed to give every marketing team the speed of generative AI without losing central control of voice, positioning, or brand standards. Ten8.City designed and built the full platform to their spec: structured brand briefs as the governance layer for each BU, a library of AI skills that run against those briefs to produce on-brand outputs, and a shared feed that surfaces the tactics working across the organisation. Delivered as a working platform, ready to deploy across the client's marketing organisation.

Problem

The client, a multi-brand enterprise, faced a now-familiar problem. AI was already inside every marketing team across their business units. Marketers were pasting brand guidelines into ChatGPT, prompting cold every morning, and producing content that drifted off voice, off strategy, and off the central brand standard. Central marketing couldn't see what was being generated. Brand teams couldn't enforce the rules. Each BU was solving the same problems in isolation, and the tactics that worked in one team never reached the others.

The two obvious responses both failed their internal review. Centralising AI marketing through a single team rebuilt the bottleneck the BUs were trying to escape. Restricting AI tools pushed the work into shadow accounts with no oversight at all. They needed infrastructure built specifically for their organisation speed of generative AI, with the brand and strategy held steady. No off-the-shelf product matched the spec.

Solution

Ten8.City designed and built the platform to the client's specification, end-to-end. The architecture treats the brand brief as the governance layer. Each business unit completes a structured intake voice, audience, positioning, proof, guardrails, do-not-say list and that brief becomes the source of truth for everything that follows. AI skills run against the brief, not against open prompts. A domain skill proposes available names that fit the positioning. A website skill deploys landing pages from a locked, brand-compliant template. A content skill drafts posts and campaigns in the team's voice. Outputs stay on-brand because the brief is in the loop, every time, automatically.

Central marketing keeps oversight. Each BU keeps autonomy. New skills can be added centrally and made instantly available to every team. A crowdsourced feed turns the platform into shared institutional memory across the client's BUs.
Built on Next.js and the Anthropic API, deployed on the client's preferred infrastructure. The full working platform was prototyped in a single working day a demonstration of how fast the right architecture lets bespoke enterprise software get built when AI is part of the build process itself.
